Mazury Golf & Country Club is a luxury golf complex which has been set up to create for its guests the best learning and playing conditions, thanks to:

Infrastructure:

Infrastructure and the range of MG&CC lets us create several kinds of events based on the training of the Golf Academy and on the golf course. For our guests we have:

• Banquet tent - located next to the Club House, Golf Academy and Putting Green. Tent (200m2) is an ideal place to organize an evening banquet, lunch, show or awards ceremony. The tent is heated and illuminated when needed and it has a stage as well. When needed the tent can be divided into 2 pieces and it can be open (on sunny days).
• Club House - with reception and bar.

Range of MG&CC:

Large, situated in a lovely place, surrounded by forests, which enables an organization of several attractions such as:

• catering stands - where the meals are served in front of the guests - roasted pig, ham, grilled fishes, pea soup etc. Stands placed all over the club create nice, picnic atmosphere.
• outdoor attractions for children and for adults - climbing walls, slides, stimulators, speedway for quads etc. Possibilities are unlimited.

The future of MG&CC:

4 stars luxurious hotel, with conference center, situated in the south part of MG&CC. We hope it will be useful for the golfers visiting our Club and for top management or medium level managers, taking part in coaching and conferences. The Hotel will be a year-round complex. Conference section will consist of 2 lecture halls, 50 m 2 for 200 people each (which can be divided into 3 or 4) Conference rooms are going to be equipped with projectors, screens, computers etc.

Modern recreation center situated next to the hotel, with swimming pool, fitness club, spa and tennis court. Apartment estate (about 5 ha), located next to the golf course. It is expected to be built high standard apartments (about 60 m2 each). The estate will be fenced; with its own security and recreation center.

Location

Course

18-hole Golf Course (Par 72) - official opening 1st of July 2005 - designed by Martin Hawtree from Hawtree Ltd. of Great Britain, the oldest company of golf architects in the world. This is their first golf project in this part of Europe. The MG&CC golf course is a Championship Course. Martin Hawtree designed the course so as it could be a challenge for experienced players, but at the same time it gives a chance for beginners. Championships tees are located far away from tees appropriate for players with high handicap. The architect considers that the course is supposed to reward good golf shots and punish the poor ones. The main idea was to create this golf course using the outstanding beauty of Warmia scenery, without any significant intrusion into the nature and into the shape of surroundings.

Driving range

1. Last tokens:
   
   • out of season (September - May): 18.00
   • in the season (June - August): 19.00
2. Safety rules:
   
   • Players are requested not to play, when works on Driving Range are being done
   • Under no circumstances please do not go outside Golf Academy boxes, do not enter driving range area
   • Small children have to be accompanied by adults
3. Rules of using grass tee:
   
   • Grass tees on the opposite side of the Academy are open all the time.
   • Please do not use grass tees located in front of the boxes unless there is information allowing that.
   • Grass tees located on the left side of Academy are open
4. Proper dress must be worn:
   
   • Play with no shirt on is not allowed.
5. Collecting balls is forbidden. All the players, not complying with this rule will be fined (1000 PLN)
6. We kindly ask for your help with tidiness maintenance in the Academy (leave empty baskets in place, do not litter)

Golf Academy

One of the biggest attractions of our golf complex. The Academy consists of a roofed Driving Range, and the training building is equipped with Swing Study Centre, video camera and other high-tech video equipment. Patterned upon the most popular schools of this kind in the world, it enables not only to hit the balls in a :"classic style" of Driving Range, but also to aim at greens from several distances around training area. As soon as the golfer finishes the training, he can analyse all his mistakes on the computer and make some corrections.

Several elements distinguish the Academy from the traditional Driving Range:

• length - 350 meters, which allows to play from both sides of the Academy
• project - "9 Target Greens" - enables to play a round of Pitch & Put
• variety of tee platforms enables a game from mats and from the grass, with different shapes of the ground, which are supposed to imitate different conditions on the golf course
• modern building of Academy
• CLUB FITTING CENTRE, where the Head Pro can adjust the golf clubs to the individual needs and skills

The Golf Academy was designed to be up to demands of players at every level of experience - from beginners to professionals. 100 meters wide and 350 long, with small pond to practice short shots over the water and grassy tees, creates the variety of training. In the north part one can find a training building equipped with modern Swing Study Centre.

Local rules

Players not complying with the rules above will be asked to leave the course. ALWAYS AVOID DELAY WHILE PLAYING
