Resort of Sierra Golf Club is situated in Pętkowice nearby Wejherowo some 25km away from Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot. This location has been selected for its closeness to Tricity as well as its remarkable landscape features (relatively short distance away from the sea, peace and quite and being surrounded by the Tricity Landscape Park).

Our golf course has been designed by a world renowned Scot, Cameron Sinclair. Landscaping has been done with the use of GPS-based systems. Natural terain features have been enriched by the addition of manmade hills and valleys. Water features were cleaned and refined. Golf course has been provided with a network drains and playing surface is being watered by a computer controlled system.

Sierra Golf Club complies with all world standards. There is a full-sized golf course with an 18-hole golf course of Master class (72 pairs), equipped in a 300 meters driving range (28 tee-off places) putting and chipping green, two modern golf simulators which make it possible to play all the year round, at the players disposal. Additionally, one finds here a modern and luxury club house to which there leads the lime and chestnut lane.

A SPA is to be built close to the golf course too, it will be a health and beauty centre as well as a complex of luxurious apartments and residencies surrounded by the nature of the Tricity Landscape Park.

Every guest of Sierra Golf Club finds the best conditions for both playing golf and active relaxation. Apart from the plans mentioned above, tennis courts are meant to be built here too. It is now that the club is famous as a social center with concerts, recitals, fashion shows, opening-days, tastings and bridge evenings.

Sierra Golf Club attracts attention. The Club unites more than 170 members, and there are tens waiting to be admitted. Among our members one meets Polish leading businessmen, actors, politicians, diplomats, doctors.

There are none who would not appreciate the perfect conditions for practicing golf which are guaranteed at Sierra Golf Club. The club, taking the worldwide known Leadbetter Academy as a paragon bought video analyzers. Every player has a chance to study their progress even at home, as after a session they can get a CD with a recording of the training coupled with piercing analysis of their mistakes. A system of cameras connected to a computer allows for what was once a dream, i.e synchronic comparison of ones swing with that of the best golfers in the world.

It is thanks to the home-like atmosphere of the place, cordiality and openness offered to everyone that Sierra Golf Course is widely approved of. Guest satisfaction and well being are of crucial importance to us. Our golf course is a perfect place for all those who because of their convictions, rules, interests and hierarchy of values offer far more than a few additional zeroes on their bank accounts.

The more and more often organized events at the club are meant to integrate the golfers society. Among tournaments which found their stable place in our calendar there is the Polish Golf Simulator Championship, a contest for ladies, the Rotarian competition as well as other sponsored contests which base on the Texas`Scramble system, Four Ball and Better Ball - team games and Strokeplay, Stabbleford, the Bogey Competition or the Flag Competition- related to individual duels.

Local rules

Golfer:

• Only those who have acquainted themselves with the regulations are allowed to use the SGC facilities.
• General golf etiquette principles are to be applied on the practice grounds.
• Only those practicing are allowed on the practice grounds and in their close proximity
• Exercise extreme caution when driving on the car park as well as on the road leading to the clubhouse
• Bring in your golf bag through the side entrance
• Use soft spikes on the golf course as well as in the Club Building
• Use Club facilities (cart room and locker room according to their design)
• Report every golf round at the Club Reception
• Make game booking via telephone or e-mail see more

On the golf course:

• Minimal handicap entitling one to play is 36 for men and 40 for women.
• The golf course staff is always entitled to precedence.
• Do not perform practice swings on tee.
• Do not aim at others while performing practice swings.
• Always stand opposite the stroking player, never stand behind him.
• Do not turn your back on a striking player.
• Repair all divots
• Always wait for the players preceding you to be in safe proximity before striking
• Place your clubs as close as possible to the next tee while approaching the green
• Do non place your bag on the green
• Do not place your clubs on the green
• While lifting a ball from a hole do not brace on the putter
• Place flagsticks next to the green
• Repair pitch marks on the green
• Note down your score after leaving the green, advisably on tee while waiting for your strike
• When looking for a ball allow the players after you to pass
• Always enter bunker from the lower edge side
• Rake the bunker before leaving it
• Shout "fore" if a ball is going in the direction of other players, if you here "fore" yourself, kneel down, cover your head and do not wonder where the ball is coming from

Remember that:

• One should wear polo shirts
• T-shirts, tracksuits, and shorts with elastic bands are not acceptable
• No matter how expensive – jeans are not allowed

Driving a cart:

• Remain on the provided cart paths
• Do not drive near green, tee, bunkers or water hazards
• Exercise caution on slopes, drive up and down parallel to the bottom
• Do not turn sharply in full speed

On the driving range:

• Strike balls from places provide
• Collecting balls is forbidden
• Cease game and notify other players if you notice people or animals in the landing area.

We inform that:

• In case of not abiding golf etiquette or regulations the possibility of using  practice areas belonging to the golf course will be cancelled
• Club management may decline the possibility of entering the club building or practice grounds to people acting inappropriately
• Playing on SGC courses is of your own responsibility and risk
• SGC does not take responsibility for any damages to both players and their possessions occurring during the games. SGC especially does not take responsibility for body injuries occurring during play as well as for lost or forgotten valuables on the golf course.
