Bar & Restaurant

La Distillerie Awarded "Table Coup de Coeur" status. Located close to the swimming pool, this restaurant welcomes you for all your meals on the open-air terrace or the covered terrace with its magnificent view of the sea and the lagoon alongside the Resort. This is a small smoking area.

Le Phare Awarded "Table Coup de Coeur" status. This restaurant of local specialities is in a heavenly setting a few yards from the Ocean. You can enjoy the subtly exotic flavours of local cuisine, typically Asian, with th delicate flavours of vanilla and curry. Tables must be booked, at Reception. The restaurant is a non-smoking area.

L'Alouda Ideally situated, this bar will let you relax during the day in an intimate setting. Early evening, the lighting on the lagoon will offer you a relaxing setting.

Le Banian Located alongside the swimming pool and the main restaurant, this bar welcomes you in a relaxed and refined atmosphere. There is also a cigar humidor service (against a supplement). Smoking is permitted on the terrace only.

Cultural & Adventure Tours (extra cost)

Benitiers Island (1 day). On board a speedboat, discover the south coast, swimming and snorkelling; laze in the sun after a crayfish lunch on board. You may be lucky enough to spot the dolphins in Tamarin Bay during this unforettable trip!

Deer Island and the Blue Bay Marine Park (1 day). On board a glass-bottomed boat, visit the most beautiful marine park of Mauritius. A private catamaran will take you to the Ile aux Cerfs (Deer Island), where you can snorkel in the blue waters of the lagoon and lunch on board (seafood kebabs, chicken and fish and grilled lobster), serenaded by local musicians. Enjoy free time to walk or swim on the Ile aux Cerfs.

The perfect excursion to discover the magic of Mauritius: visit of the Eureka colonial house where you will taste vanilla tea, the Hindu temple and sacred lake, a plantation of anthurium, Chamarel with its waterfall and soil of 7 colours. Port Louis by boat (1/2 day). A pleasant boat trip along the coast. Discover the covered market in Port Louis, free time for shopping on the sea front.

Port Louis by bus (half-day). Visit the Pamplemousse botanical garden with its centuries-old trees and rare species before heading back to the capital of Mauritius, Port Louis, with time for a visit to the colourful market.

Quad-biking Safari in the "Casela" animal reserve. Ride a 400 cc quad-bike through the Casela reserve, with its deer, zebras and ostriches, and enjoy breathtaking views over the Indian Ocean and the surrounding plantations.

Tailor-made excursions To satisfy your curiosity and discover the most unusual and little-known sites, hire a yacht or private car with chauffeur; enjoy a helicopter flight or sunset cruise.

The Tea Route (1 day) The Bois Chéri tea plantation, with its factory, museum and tasting of 6 teas, is a fabulous day's visit. The Vanilla Crocodile park has giant turtles, crocodiles, iguanas and a wonderful collection of butterflies from around the world. Lunch at Domaine St Aubin, a vanilla plantation and distillery.
