The white sandy headland of Gregolimano, on the island of Evia, juts out defiantly into the blue waters of the Aegean, across from the mountains.

In this idyllic Resort for sport-loving families, Jean-Philippe Nuel has breathed a new contemporary spirit into the modern architecture. The Deluxe Bungalows in the pine forest with a magnificent sea view have a new look, adorned with wood and sandstone.

The traditional Greek blue and white have been enhanced with a dash of vivid tones, to perfect the Resort's lively new ambience.

This is a public beach of fine sand which stretches for 2 km. One part is bordered by bungalows and the other runs alongside a pine forest where you can cool down at the beach bar. The sea is clear and the coast is peppered with a few rocks. Demarcated bathing area. The beach is equipped with deckchairs and parasols.

This Resort has 382 rooms in a variety of types of accommodation, alongside a magnificent long beach of white sand. The bungalows are small 1-storey buildings dotted along the headland in the shade of the pine forest, close to the Mini Club Med® and the water sports activities.

The hotels are located in the centre of the Resort, on a hillside facing the sea:

• "Acropole" is a 3-storey building with lift, which houses the reception, above the buffet restaurant.
• "Pirée" is a 4-storey building with lift, down from the buffet restaurant.
• "Parthenon" is a 6-storey building
• "Olympe" is a group of small 1 and 2-storey buildings, with no lift, surrounded by gardens, on the style of a Greek village, close to the nightclub and next to the Parthenon building. The different buildings are linked by corridors and bridges.

Club Room - on all floors of the Acropole and Pirée hotels and a few rooms on the 3rd floor of the Parthénon. The Pinede Club Rooms are located on the ground and 1st floors in the bungalows on the sea-front. These rooms are ideally located for families: in the shade of the pine forest, a short walk to the Mini Club Med, beach and activities. "Olympe" Club Rooms reflect the Resort's Greek charm, with its shady streets with flowers everywhere. In the heart of the Resort, you can have a Sea View Hotel Club Room at the Hotel Pirée or Acropole, with a magnificent view from the balcony, or a large terrace where you can sunbathe any time of day on the 1st or 3rd floor of the Hotel Parthenon.

Deluxe - the most beautiful room in the Resort, on the water's edge, like being on a desert island but with all the Club Med activities. On the ground floor of the sea-front bungalows, with a sea view.

Suite - a spacious Suite with separate lounge, for top-class comfort in a beautifully refined decor. Open view over the sea from your hotel terrace.

Le Panorama This restaurant in the Hotel Acropole has been entriely refurbished and redecorated. Try its delicious local specialities, served in the evening. Also welcomes you for late breakfast. In the evenings, on reservation only, at Reception. Waiter service. The terrace is a smoking area.

Les Pleiades The new decoration of this restaurant plays on a combination of styles between inside and out. On the terrace, in the shade of a pergola or in the refined interior, discover an international cuisine presented in buffet form. An exceptional location, in the shade of the pine woods right down to the sea... The terrace is a smoking area.

Le Panorama Near the speciality restaurant, this totally renovated bar welcomes you during the day and in the evenings, in an intimate, refined setting.

Bar Aphrodite In the heart of the pine forest, surrounded by large terraces overlooking the bay, this bar takes on a new face. In the evening, its new dance floor, open to the outside, allows everyone to enjoy the Greek climate, while taking advantage of the cocktail menu in a relaxed atmosphere. A lounge, enclosed by curtains and sofas outside offers a spectacular view over the swimming pool and the sea.

Cultural & Adventure Tours (extra cost)

An evening chez Yannis. Music and dance are an integral part of this happy event. The boat will take you to Agios Giorgos where you will await Yannis and Tannissis for a typical, unpretentious evening during which the villagers of Agios Giorgos will undoubtedly join the party.

Athenorama (1 day) Athens: birthplace of democracy and philosophy, its conception of the beauty and the good has long influenced the rest of the world. Discover at your own pace this city full of contrasts, where the eternal monuments stand erect on the sacred "rock" of the Acropolis and rub shoulders with the modern neighbourhoods that lie at their feet. You will be able to visit a number of museums, walk through the hustle and bustle of the streets or do some shopping during this day to yourself. Lunch not included.

Athens (1 day) Birthplace of European culture where mythology is intimately related with history, Athens* illustrates civilisations, myths and religions that blossomed in Greece for over a thousand years. According to mythology, created by Cecrops, a being with the body of a serpent and the 1st King of Athens, discover the past and present history of this city with eternal values through a panoramic tour. Admire the sacred hill of the Acropolis, the most significant ancient site of the Western world. Crowned by the Parthenon, the largest marble temple ever built in Greece, it sheltered the immense statue of Athena Parthenos. After lunch at the foot of the Acropolis, stroll along the narrow cobblestoned streets of the Plaka quarter, the commercial centre of Monastiraki or the elegant quarter of Kolonaki. *Site registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Boat ride and mountain-bike ride (1/2 day) The boat lands on the beach at Faros, where you'll depart for the mountain bike ride. Pedal along the coast between pines and blue sea. Along the cycle tracks through the shady forest to Cavos, where you'll board the boat that takes you back to the Resort.

Boat trip and snorkelling (1/2 day) A motor boat will take you out to Ihadonesia and Stroggili Island. Sunbathing and snorkelling for a perfect half day's excursion.

Boat A la carte Charter a boat to sail with family or among friends to the neighbouring islands.

Delphi (1 day) It is not by accident that the Ancient Greeks chose this site as "the navel of the world". Legend has it that two eagles left from the ends of the earth to reach the centre and met in this place. Perched like an eagle's next above a ravine drop, Delphes* reached its peak in the 4th century BC when the pilgrims consulted its sensible oracle who expressed the words of Apollo. Crossing Oliver's sea will lead you to the sanctuary of Apollo. This colossal temple harboured philosophical maxims such as: "Know yourself" Admire the gracious rotunda of the Athena sanctuary which is the most remarkable monument of Delphes and the considerable treasures of the splendid museum of this ancient site. *Site registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Fly over in a helicopter. Just off the Greek mainland, the island of Eubee offers an interesting panorama from the sky. Fly over huge olive groves, mountains swathed in mystery and crystal clear waters. Cascading emotions for an unforgettable experience during this half-hour flight over the magnificent landscapes of the north of Eubee Island and part of the continent.

Lihadonesia (1/2 day) While the boat sails along the coast of the gulf of the Eubea island, the fishing village St Georges comes into sight. Take the time to stroll through this small typical village before going back out to sea towards Lihadonesia. The legends of Lihadonesia will have you dreaming for a few moments before a swim and refreshments that will be served to you on a heavenly beach.

Skiathos (1 day) This island of sixty beaches, some of them reputed to be among the finest in Greece, will delight you. Strolling along the coastline covered with pine groves, shopping in the narrow streets of the old town or just simply swimming and relaxing on one of its numerous beaches will make your day here unforgettable.

The Meteors (1 day) "Suspended in the air" A natural phenomenon that is unique in the world. How best to describe these monasteries perched atop their celestial mountains? As you go around a bend at the western tip of the plain of Thessalia, you enter a world of mineral chaos. A majestic landscape of 24 rocky peaks like fingers pointing skyward, the Meteores* monasteries defy time. History looks down at you from these summits, where Byzantine monks took refuge 600 years ago, seeking solitude and closeness to God. *Site registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
