The Club Med Resort of La Pointe aux Canonniers has 280 rooms, bungalows only, all completely renovated. Located in the heart of a 19 hectare tropical garden alongside a whity sandy beach on the Indian Ocean, some of these wooden, colonial style bungalows have two levels.

Club Room The Club Room, situated at ground or upper floor level of the bungalows inside the park, offering a view of the greenery. Available with connecting rooms or with Sea View, offering an enchanting view of the waves and a place to relax in between visits to the sea.

Deluxe Room The most beautiful room in the Resort, situated at ground or upper floor level of the bungalows, facing the sea. Offering a large, comfortable and very stylishly decorated space. Additional options include connecting rooms with a bedroom, living area, and dressing area.

Suites These Suites are on the ground or 1st floor of the "Flic en Flac", "Nouvelle France" and "Mon désert" buildings. The Suites have a bedroom and separate lounge, with a panoramic view over the sea and a furnished terrace.

Bar & Restaurant

The Belle Créole Awarded "Table Coup de Coeur" status. With its refined decor, this restaurant is in the style of a large colonial house. Our world cuisine buffets are an ideal accompaniment for all your meals. There is a baby corner where parents can prepare meals for their little ones. The restaurant terrace is a smoking area.

The Paul et Virginie Awarded "Table Coup de Coeur" status. This restaurant is in an idyllic setting on the edge of the beach, a few metres from the ocean. In the shade of a palm tree, this restaurant offers a daytime service of late breakfast and lunch. In the evenings, enjoy waiter service in an atmosphere of quiet refinement. Evening meals must be booked in advance at Reception. This is a non-smoking area.

The Mauritius In a warm decor ideal for romantic cocktails at the end of the day, this bar is open all day and part of the night. Lounge ambience for evenings. Serves snacks; special children's area; cigar cellar (not included in your package). Tea time from 4.30 to 5.30pm to enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury treats together with flavoured teas. Open from 10am to 2am.

The Paul et Virginie A heavenly environment looking out over the ocean, open all day. When the discotheque opens in the evening, the bar takes on a new life and offers you a wide range of cocktails to sip under the stars. Open from 10am to 7.30pm and 11pm to 2am.

Cultural & Adventure Tours (extra cost)

Colours of Mauritius (1 day). The best way to discover the magic and culture of Mauritius. You will visit the colonial house, Eureka and admire the magnificent view from the "Trou aux Cerfs" volcano. Discover an Anthurium plantation and the lake and holy temples of "Grand Bassin". Typical lunch in an idyllic setting. End the day with the pearl of the island's natural wonders, the Cascade de Chamarel and its 7 colours of soil.

Deep sea diving (à la carte). Unique in the whole of the Indian Ocean, ride on a real submarine, and in complete safety!!! A rare and unforgettable experience.

Deer Island and the Blue Bay marine park (1 day). Explore the Grande Rivière Sud Est Falls in a motorboat. Sail out on a catamaran to Eau Bleue, where you will dive down to admire the magnificent coral. You will taste sea urchins and dine on board (lobster, seafood kebabs, grilled fish...) while listening to local music. Finally, enjoy some free time on L'Ile aux Cerfs with its paradisiac lagoons, before getting the bus back to Trou d'Eau Douce.

Ile aux Benitiers (1 day). On board a yacht, discover the South coast, swim, snorkelling: lobster lunch on board, lounge! Will you have the chance to spot the dolphins in the Bay of Tamarin? Go ahead, it’s unforgettable!

Minibus (à la carte) Discover Mauritius Island in your own time with friends or the family aboard a chauffeur-driven air-conditioned minibus.

Port Louis by boat (1/2 day). A delightful boat trip along the coast. Discover the covered market at Port Louis, visit and shopping by the seaside.

Port Louis by bus (1/ day) Visit the Pamplemousse botanical gardens with their hundred-year-old trees and rare species, before returning to the capital, Port Louis.

Private yacht with skipper (à la carte) A magnificent trip in a splendid sailing boat, travelling at your own pace; you can hug the nearby coastline or set off on a voyage to discover the islands of the north; grilled lobster and champagne can be provided for your day out on request.

Quad safari: Casella protected animal reserve (a la carte) Combine business with pleasure: go on safari on 400 cc quad bikes into the bush, weaving in and out of deer, zebra and ostriches, finishing with lunch in the mythical restaurant in the LABOURDONNAIS hotel in Port Louis. The second part of the day will be devoted entirely to shopping in the island's capital. An excellent combination of sport and leisure (depending on availability, the programme may be reversed).

Sunset cruise (evening) On board the Harris Wilson catamaran, witness the sunset over the Indian Ocean, with background music, punch and snacks on board, ever magical!

The Northern Isles in a Catamaran (1 day) Sail aboard a luxury 18-metre (60 ft) Harris Wilson catamaran to the Northern isles (Ilot Gabriel or Ile Plate) and discover wild beaches, turquoise waters and multi-coloured fish. Sun-bathing, snorkelling, grilled fish on board and a taste of rum.

The Tea Route (1 day) The Bois Chéri tea plantations, its factory, museum and 6-flavour tasting sessions, are an absolute must. The Vanilla Crocodile park has giant tortoises, crocodiles, iguanas and a wonderful collection of butterflies from around the world. Lunch at Domaine St Aubin, a vanilla plantation and distillery.
