Abu Galum (1 day) Ras Abu Galum is a magnificent national park where you can enjoy the luxury of fish swimming at your feet! The contrast with the stoney desert, as you drive through this arid panorama in a 4x4, will exalt the fabulous blues of the sea to the height of perfection. Snorkelling, followed by lunch with a Bedouin family to savour local cusisine and hospitality. Camel ride or walk through the park.

Boutre ride (traditional sailing boat (1 day) On board an authentic replica of a traditional Red Sea boutre, discover these fabulous waters and their wealth of underwater life. Snorkelling in crystal clear waters and barbecue. 2-hour trips possible, to see the sunset.

Glass bottom boat (2 hours) Admire the unique sea gardens of the Red Sea, with their fabulous underwater life, reputed to be the finest in the world.

Mount Sinai and St Catherine's Monastery** (1 and a half days) Late evening departure for Mount Sinai, where tradition has it that Moses received the 10 commandments from God. You'll climb up a narrow path used by the nomads, to experience the magnificent sunrise from the summit. An unforgettable moment, amid the throng of pilgrims from all over the world. Back down the mountain to visit St Catherine's Monastery**. Close to the Basilica and the memorial of the Burning Bush, the convent's fortifications, that encompass a whole array of religious buildings, stand at an elevation of 1,570 metres. ** UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Petra** - Jordan (1 day) One of the wonders of the world, Petra** is famous for its spectacular beauty and fascinating history. Guided tour of Petra's most famous sites; discover the history, myths and legends, of the pink and red city. A journey back in time, as colourful as the rocks in which it was sculpted. ** a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Quad riding in the desert The rocky canyons overhanging the Gulf of Taba are superbly mysterious and inaccessibe: discover the secret life of these age-old mountains. A great opportunity to get off the beaten track and meet the local people.

St Catherine's ** (1 day) St Catherine's Monastery** in the spectacular Sinai mountains is one of the foremost historic and religious sites in the world. Standing at the foot of Mount Moses from the 6th century AD, the monastery is still home to a community of monks. You'll visit the Basilic, where the narthex houses exceptional works of art (icones and illuminated manuscripts). Visit to the Chapel of the Burning Bush and the Justinian wall.

The Coloured Canyon (1/2 day) As you venture between these amazing stone walls, you'll enter a timeless zone where rare animals and magical rock formations create a universe of enchantment. The Coloured Canyon is a superb kaleidoscope of sandstone painted by mother nature.

The Wadi Rum Desert and Petra** - Jordan (2 days) Wadi Rum is also known as the "Valley of the Moon". One of the most beautiful sites in Jordan, the valley was on the path of successive waves of Semite invaders. This magical spot is also associated with the exploits of Lawrence of Arabia during the First World War. Exploration of the spectacular environment in a 4x4. Lunch of local delicacies in a Bedouin camp. In the afternoon, you'll be driven to Wadi Musa where you'll spend the night in a 5 star hotel. Early start the next morning for a guided tour of Petra**: we'll approach the capital of the Nabatean kingdom via the narrow Siq pass surrounded by lofty cliffs. This nomadic people, who no doubt came from the southern reaches of Arabia, built themselves an indepenent kingdom stretching from Hegra in Arabia to Bosra in Syria. Journey to Aqaba by bus and a rapid tour of the town, then on to the modern marina at Tala Bay.
