Travel Insurance - Allianz - Elvia

TRAMP stands for the offer of insurance policies covering international travel, and designed for travel agencies: travel organizers and agencies selling tourist events, organizing trips and selling travel tickets.

TRAMP is the integrated insurance system containing numerous warranties, including two that are novel on the Polish market – compensation for the costs of cancelled hotel accommodation and cancelled air ticket.

TRAMP insurance system offers very wide range of coverage:

• to be chosen by travel agency – the option to cover all customers automatically (premiums are then paid by the agency)
• to be chosen by customers - the decision to purchase insurance policy is reached by a customer (and premiums are then paid by him/her).

TRAMP insurance system covers the following services:

• medical costs and assistance during the trip - KLA
• payment of compensation for permanent health damage in result of an accident - NNW
• private personal liability for personal and material damages – OC/O, OC/R
• covering the costs related to the loss or delayed delivery of travel baggage - BP
• covering the costs related to travel cancellation before departure or curtailment – O/R
• covering the costs related to cancelled hotel accommodation – O/H
• covering the costs related to cancelled air ticket – O/L

Allianz is the first insurance company on the market to offer coverage of the costs related to cancellation of hotel accommodation and air ticket.

The customer may purchase:

• insurance policy covering travel cancellation before departure or curtailment, or
• insurance policy covering the costs related to hotel and air ticket cancellations.

The policies offer wide range of insurance amounts and warranties. Additional risks relating to work in foreign countries or sports may also be covered by insurance.

Efficiency in drawing up policies and reporting to Allianz.

Two insurance variants are available: automatic and optional.

• Automatic insurance coverage – certificates are issued by travel agency and data of the contracts are electronically reported to Allianz.
• Optional insurance coverage – certificates confirming drawn-up contracts are issued by travel agency using a computer programme, and data thereof are reported to Allianz with the use of specially designed software.

Event organizers are recommended to adopt automatic insurance variant, in accordance with regulations laid down in the Law on Tourism, as well as the option of introducing insurance policies designed for more prudent customers.

24-hours-a-day care

In most cases the customers holding Allianz travel insurance policies do not have to spend their own financial means as the costs are covered by Allianz.

The customers are supplied with contact telephone numbers of the Operations Centre rendering assistance to everyone in need of it, and providing guidelines in difficult situation. The Operations Centre renders assistance 24 hours a day. The assistance services of Allianz are rendered through Elvia Operations Centre.
