The aim of these meetings is to present you the circle of breeders in other countries, to offer the possibility of cooperation in breeding and training, business contacts and wonderful rest in exotic places ... just Business & Pleasure.

The history of arabian horses breeding in Poland

Polish national tragedy, partition of Poland and csar slavery as well as terrible lot of I World War almost totally destroy Polish breeding of Arabian horses. In 1917 a famous stud in Chrestówka stops existing because of its plundering by Bolshevik hordes. The same happens with Sławuta residence where its eighty years old owner - Prince Roman Sanguszko - is killed.

In 1923 Polish Association of Breeding of Arabian Horses is founded. Count Aleksander Dzieduszycki is becoming its first President and the seat of Association is in Warsaw, 17 Wiejska Street, exactly in the same place where now Polish Sejm is situated.

Bahrajn - fabulous coral islands archipelago at Persian Bay - a cradle of Arabian horses. This is the place where Bohdan Ziętarski, manager of stud in Gumniska, arrived in 1931. By order of stud's owner - Prince Roman Sanguszko-JR - he bought stallions: Kuhailan Afas and Kuhailan Haifi. They played a fundamental role in Polish and world Arabian horses breeding.

II World War tragedy and terrible lot of count Aleksander Dzieduszycki did not kill love and need of Arabian horses breeding and thanks to sacrifice, hard work and cultivation of the most beautiful national traditions by great, Polish breeders today we can be proud as our Polish Arabian horses are the best in the world - and let it stay.

Arabian horse means fashionable, ennobling, it is a 'key' opening door to big, international business world and the world of aristocracy, where you are welcome!

In last few years there were over 100 private Arabian horses studs founded, which start to breed horses of comparable quality to these from national studs. Suitably prepared and trained horses from private studs will have a chance to start an equal competition on shows and auctions in Poland and abroad in years to come.

In last years we can observe an equalisation of breeding level all over the world. The circle of traditional experts like Poland, Russia, Egypt and USA was enlarged by such countries as Brazil, Argentina, Qatar, Australia, Israel and European Union countries. The last German Elite Arabians auction brought turnover of 1 million German marks.
